| In this beginning of 21st Century, the preservation of cultural heritage becomes a necessary issue. Preservation of architecture is one of the most important works in this issue. Since one or two centuries, European has developed its appropriate concept and practice on the preservation of architectural heritage, which fit to their proper cultural context. Though the definition of cultural heritage has been reviewed and derived into some very rich aspects in the second half of 20th Century, the preservation and the rehabilitation of architecture keep its importance among the preservation issues of cultural heritage.
The purpose of preservation is to witness history. We found big problem after having preserved architectural spaces and buildings themselves, which is the rehabilitation. Some buildings to be recognized of historical value and have been put in the process of protection could face some difficulties on reuse because of their spaces or structural limits.
