| Description
| This course aims to understand the concept of heritage from the context of Taiwan and UNESCO. Different issues related to heritage preservation are discussed in this course, include the value and authenticity of tangible and intangible heritage, the representation and interpretation of culture and history, and reuse and management of cultural spaces. Moreover, fieldwork, the research methods of doing heritage preservation and resource management is also taught in this course. Finally, international case studies of heritage reuse and management are examined, to understand different ways of heritage practice.
