| This course aims to help students understand the characteristics and essence of Chinese society and culture through a thematic exploration, so that they can conduct cross-cultural comparisons and exchanges after deep understanding of their own culture. This course will cover cultural knowledge in various aspects, such as Chinese history, literature, art, philosophy, religion, traditional culture, and the current situation of Chinese society both domestically and internationally. However, due to the limited time of the semester, the course will be conducted in a thematic manner. It is hoped that students can objectively understand and analyze Chinese society and culture through reading, discussion, and research, and further understand the influence and status of Chinese society and culture in the international community.
