| This course focuses on the procedural aspect of invention patent, utility model and design patent prosecution in Taiwan. As a wide range of different topics are designed to be covered, two courses named “Practice in Patent application (1)” and “Practice in Patent application (2)” are being offered and this is the second course (2). The topics cover office action response drafting, amendment, response and examination procedures, post-grant amendment and invalidation procedure, administrative remedy and petition brief drafting, and patent filing strategy, etc. In addition, the practical aspect of international patent prosecution is presented for comparison. The class materials include a patent prosecution textbook, patent prosecution and examination guidelines from different counties, and court decisions.
