Description The objective of this course is to learn the basic theory of field geology and the methods of observation, recording, thinking and comprehensive analysis, and apply it to other geological disciplines. Field observation is the most basic work of geological research. The methods and principles and theories used in field observation are the focus of field geology study. The content of this course is to introduce the general concepts and basic principles of field geology, including introduction to field geology, geological phenomena and geological survey methods in areas of igneous rocks, sedimentary rocks and metamorphic rocks, the making and application of topographic maps and geological maps, geological surveys general principles etc.
