| Understanding cross-cultural communication is important for people or companies that have a diverse workforce or plan on conducting global business. This course focuses on learning how people from different cultures speak, communicate, and perceive the world around them. Students will develop the skills they need to understand different business customs, beliefs and communication strategies. At the end of this course, students will be able to communicate effectively in every cross-cultural business situation, while easily and confidently navigating language differences, high-context vs. low-context cultures, nonverbal differences, and power distance.
