| This course intends to introduce essential topics regarding to R Language and Big data analysis. The students are trained to implement R in Big data analysis in practice. There are several topics, including: Overview of R, R data types and objects, reading and writing data, control structures, functions, loop functions, debugging tools, models and methods, and how to handle and store huge amount of data in R. This course focuses on both theoretical and practical issues. Real world case study and hands-on practice will also be important parts of this course.
