| Description
| The English Teaching Practicum extends the pedagogical trainings beyond classroom, serving as a bridge to field practice. The two-credit elected course provides students with opportunities to apply theories learned to the authentic classroom implementation. The objectives for teaching practice are for students to practice and improve their teaching skills as well as to enhance teaching expertise. Placed in a school / classroom setting as a teacher of record supervised and evaluated by both the course instructor and the partner school / classroom advisor, students will meet with course instructor and on-site advisor regularly to discuss teaching practice for development and assessment purposes. Students are required to teach a minimum of 24 hours during one school semester. Upon successful completion, students will receive a certificate issued by the partner school / institution.
