| This course aims to introduce students to the cultures of English- speaking countries and areas such as England, the United States, Canada, Anglophone Africa, Australia, New Zealand, India, Hong Kong, Singapore, and the Caribbean. In this course, various cultural media such as diverse forms of books and magazines, essays, films, and world literatures in English will be employed to compare and analyze the cultures of Anglophone countries and areas. Students are expected to discern the similarities and differences between the cultures concerned. With this cross-cultural awareness, they could help promote cultural exchange and expand the business of Taiwan's international enterprises.
