| This course focuses on thematic spoken interaction and aims to develop students’ ability to engage in meaningful, structured, and sustained communication in English. Rather than emphasizing everyday conversation or formal presentation, the course trains students to express ideas, respond to others, ask follow-up questions, extend discussion, and connect viewpoints around a topic or theme. Through pair interaction, small-group discussion, topic-based response tasks, and short speaking activities, students will learn to organize ideas more clearly and participate in more coherent and extended spoken exchanges in English. The course serves as a foundation for subsequent coursework in English presentations in professional fields.
