| This course centers on international current affairs and aims to develop students’ ability to comprehend, respond to, analyze, and articulate ideas in spoken English interaction. Through class discussion, small-group dialogue, issue-based responses, position statements, and short oral presentations, students will learn to approach international events from multiple perspectives, organize information, identify viewpoints, and participate in discussion in clear and logical English. The course also emphasizes the development of critical thinking and global awareness in order to strengthen students’ English communication skills in the context of global issues.
