To examine these concerns, the course includes: 1. Introduction 2. Current housing policy and practical issues 3. The state of housing need/demand/supply 4. House building and the construction industry 5. Housing finance and expenditure 6. Public and private housing development 7. Balancing planning needs in housing studies: housing, land-use planning, environmental, transportation, and financing concerns.
