| Examines the values and ethics of an architectural society and the input of the architect into the decision-making process of an architectural organization. An examination of visions of society and culture embodied in social texts and their relation to the design of alternative urban spaces and places.Students draw on social analysis and design theory to consider how social thought informs design and the production of urban space. In addition, students suggest possible theoretical texts justifying their design proposals.
