| This course teaches students the concept and theoretical background of the quantitative methods that are useful in the analysis and solution towards the management problems. The scope of this course covers some well-known quantitative techniques in the fields of statistics and applied mathematics. This course will be conducted through the approaches of problem solving and case study. Discussion of this course covers the following five major areas: (1) Applications of probability theory and statistical analysis; (2) System simulation; (3) Linear programming applications in management decision-making; (4) Network analysis and applications in logistics; (5) Project management using CPM.
