| Enterprise Decision Management is a new approach to improving the design, automation, coordination and management of decisions across an enterprise in order to: 1) better align and link global business objectives with transaction-level systems, decisions and actions, and 2) provide a common technical platform for automating decisions based on both data-driven insight and expert judgment. Within this definition, advanced analytics will be introduced, including statistical models, neural networks, expert systems, optimization algorithms, and other techniques.
