| The chief objective of this course is to build a strong foundation in the basic principles of electro-mechanics and electric machinery, and which is on both physical insight and mathematic analysis. Mastery of the material covered will provide both the basis for many real-world electric-machinery applications and through MATLAB simulation studies to arouse the interesting in learning. The contents of this subject are :
1.Numerical Simulation : Electromechanical-Energy-Conversion Principle , Introduction to Rotating Machines, DC Machines, Introduction to Power Electronics , Speed and Torque Control , Three-Phase Circuits .
2. Induction Machines (Three-Phase Motors) Experimental Studies : No-Load Experiment, Block Testing, Loading Performance, Speed Control .
3.DC Machines Experimental Studies : No-Load Experiment for DC Generators , Loading Performance for Separate Excitation Generators , Loading Performance for Shunt Generators , Loading Performance for Series Generators , Loading P
