Description This module introduces students to advanced architectural design through operations conducted at appropriate spatial scales and levels of resolution. It aims to cultivate sophisticated design abilities, critical awareness, and a capacity for spatial dialectical thinking. Students are encouraged to engage with a specific area of design specialism, adopting innovative and critically informed approaches to conceptual generation, while deepening their understanding of material, formal, and narrative strategies in response to site and context. Through this process, they develop a multilayered architectural reasoning within their design work.
