| The course mainly focuses the comprehensive dimensions on the "Nature" and "Economics" of land resources. The type characteristics, amount and value, survey and evaluation, development and use, management, and preservation of land resources, especially problems of urban land, would be discussed.
According to the state-of-the-art trends of this discipline, the course covers some basic concepts of land resources that should be clarified and specified, including land, land resources, the types and components of land resources, and many among others. Also, the knowledge and methodologies concerning land resource development and management, such as land use, land ecological design, land reclamation, land development, and land-use monitoring, will be introduced.
