| For the purposes to provide an understanding of the variety of perspectives which influence housing planning and construction, and to consider the resource issues and strategies involved in the implementation of housing planning and construction at the local level, the course consists of (1) introduction: historical perspectives on housing development, (2) the housing component of development planning, (3) house building and the construction industry, housing development process (4) housing finance and expenditure, (5) housing management.
