| Description
| Structured around a thematic design studio, this module positions architectural operation as a critical apparatus for investigating contemporary culture, social dynamics, and spatial phenomena. Moving beyond mere functionalist and physical parameters, students are challenged to examine how architecture engages with and acts upon complex cultural and environmental contexts. Utilising a research-led design methodology, students will interrogate the dialogue between spatial form and human behaviour, historical strata, or cross-cultural conditions. This rigorous process will enable them to formulate architectural proposals of cultural sensitivity and depth, while negotiating a multiplicity of constraints and situations.
