| Description
| This course aims to guide first-year architecture students in understanding the foundational concepts and applications of contemporary Generative AI, while building the essential digital literacy needed for future design environments. The course will integrate relevant examples from the fields of architecture and design, introducing how generative AI can be applied in learning, design ideation, image generation, and information organization.
The course will cover fundamental operations of generative AI, prompt crafting and tool usage, along with ethical guidelines and principles for AI use in academic and teaching contexts. Through hands-on practice and discussions, students will develop a foundational understanding of AI tools at the beginning of their architectural education and reflect on the role and potential of AI in the future of architecture and design.
