Description The course is to interpret the application of the filament and staple yarn fabrics at the different end applications. It includes fabrication methods, principles, and end application fields of the performance and composite functional fabrics, prepreg in textile composites, and 3 dimensional woven and knitting fabrics etc. The fabrication methods include uniaxial, biaxial, triaxial, multiaxial, course and wale inlaid knitted fabrics, combined knitted and woven composite fabrics, 3 dimensional woven fabric with multiaxial, and special fabrication methods etc. Finally the difference in mechanical properties and end applications for the fabrics will be discussed.
