| This course is conscerned with the divelopment of different fibers of special function. Those functional fibers are as following:
1.high strength fiber, PE gel spinning, manufacture of carbon fiber.
2.liquid crystalline fiber, kevlar fiber, high performance fiber.
3.aromatic high strength fiber, PBI fiber, high modulus fiber.
4.optic fiber for communication.
5.ceramic fiber for structural application.
6.antimicrobial and biomedical fiber.
7.hollow fiber.
8.thermochromic and photochromic fibers
9.superfine fibers.
10.Nonwoven.
11.polyimide fiber
12.conducting polymer fiber.
