| Description
| The purpose of this course is to make students further understand the weaving theories through the practical operations. The students have to learn the operation of the following machines at the workshop in this department. They are cone winder, warping machine, sizing machine, rapier loom, gripper loom, water-jet loom, circular knitting machine, hosiery knitter and warp-knitting machine. In order to enhance the students' understanding of weaving processes, the visits to some local weaving mills are also arranged.
