| Affected by global climate change, coupled with geographical and environmental restrictions and improper development and utilization, Taiwan faces severe challenges in the development of new water resources and sustainable utilization. The purpose of this course is to teach students how to properly plan and utilize limited water resources, reduce the impact of floods, droughts, etc., so as to achieve the goals of sustainable management and utilization of limited water resources. The course is based on hydrology and includes the assessment, development and management of various surface and underground water resources, as well as the optimal design or safety analysis of various hydraulic structures.
