| Building Information Modeling (BIM) is an innovative process in Architecture/Engineering/Construction industry. It can integrate various information into a 3D model. With such a characteristic, to compare with a traditional 3D model, a BIM model can achieve more possible applications, such as quantity takeoff, clash detection, and 4D simulation. In addition, the characteristic of BIM also enables parametric modeling, which make modeling process easier and more efficient. This course aims to introduce the basic concept of BIM, and train the enrolled students to develop the basic skills of BIM modeling and applications.
