Description Electrochemical metallurgy is a course to study how to utilize electrochemistry to do the research of metallurgy, any electrochemical reaction should be done at the existence of anode, cathode and electrolyte, therefore, to understand the oxidation reaction of anode, the reduction reaction of cathode, their interface behaviors, and the conductivity behavior of electrolyte, are the only way to enter electrochemical `territory. Further, using the basic knowledge of electrochemistry to apply at the wet process smelting and anticorrosion of metal, in order to expect a higher degree of purity, protection and longetivity. From introduction to a series of fundamental electrochemical theory to applying metallurgy and material science step by step, the course let students learn practically applied electrochemistry, matching practice with theory.Students should be owning the knowledgeof analytical chemistry and physic chemistry. They shall determine the surface property, surface electrochemist
