| Description
| This course is to train the students to use computer-aided design (CAD) tools for the analysis and simulation of digital and analog integrated circuits (IC). Develop students' ability to design integrated circuits. The contents of this course are:
(1) Introduction to the CAD IC design
(2) Introduction and exercise to the CAD of analog IC (e.g. SPICE)
(3) Introduction and exercise to the CAD of digital IC (e.g. Viewlogic)
(4) Introduction to the PLD and FPGA
(5) Layout of IC
(6) Project.
