| This course focuses on popular culture and aims to develop students’ ability to understand, describe, and discuss contemporary cultural phenomena in English. Topics include music, film and television, sports, social media, celebrity and influence culture, popular trends, and youth culture. Through a variety of English-language texts and media materials, students will build relevant vocabulary, useful expressions, and cultural perspectives. Through class discussion, topic-based responses, oral sharing, and short analytical activities, students will strengthen their English comprehension and communication skills while developing cultural awareness, media literacy, and intercultural understanding.
