| The present course is geared to establish basic skills for students to effectively communicate messages, ideas, and thoughts in English. Skills and abilities to present in English are an invaluable asset for students who wish to pursue a global career and succeed in international competition. Low aspirations in delivering an English presentation are inflicted by and encompass a range of typical issues that a non-native English speaker often encounters. To address the many levels of challenges and to seek tenable solutions for students, the course will thus have its main emphasis on essential aspects of an English presentation, including its content, structure, and language. Students will learn how to plan, organize and control the content while improving the fluency of English oral delivery and the use of strategies to enhance communicative competence as well.
