課程大綱
This course is to introduce the biological funcaions and structure of glycans to graduate students. In this course, N-linked, O-linked and GPI-linked glycosylation pathway are the focuses. Student are expected to learn the basic knowledge and applications of glycans.Students must be highly motivated and required actively participated in class discussion. The course is taught in English.

評量方式與標準
Evaluation: Student presentation (35 %) + Mid-term (25 %) + Final case report (25%) + Class attendance (15 %) Format on group presentation: PPT file (e-mail & hard-copy) to all students Format on the case report: Two-typed-page is the maximum size of the report. In the report, you should describe the motives of the paper, the important results and your critics on the selected paper, IN YOUR OWN WORDS!
