Chinese Description 		教育無法讓人準備好迎接這個世界，肇因於知識是一系列具備特定探討對象的理論與陳述，故不足以應付充滿驚奇與陷阱的真實世界。瞭解來自各學科與領域的思考模型有助我們分析訊息與掌握狀況，為困難提供解法並協助判斷。我們將探討以下基本模型：第一原理思考、思想實驗、機率思考、反演法、高階覺察、減法思維、倒U曲線、催化劑與網絡人際、路徑依賴、慣性與摩擦、紅皇后效應、重組問題架構、黑天鵝與灰犀牛，等等來自人文、社會與自然科學的模型。本課程獻給想脫離慣性與制式思考舒適圈的人。
英文概述
English Description 		Education doesn’t prepare us for this world because of the plain fact that knowledge is a set of theories and accounts with specific studying objects, that is not sufficient to account for the survival manual in the real world full of surprises and traps. Understanding of basic mental models serves as a guide to analyzing information and judging reality when trapped in a tough situation. The course focuses on the following mental models from different subjects and areas: First Principle Thinking, Thought Experiment, Probabilistic Thinking, Inversion, Higher-order Awareness, Abstract, Inverted-U Curve, Catalysts and the Human Network, Inertia and Friction, Route Dependence, Red Queen Effect, The Reframing Problem Method, Black Swan and Gray Rhino, etc. The course is dedicated to those who are eager to get away from the comfort zone created by habitual and institutional mode of thinking.
