英文概述 English Description | Education doesn’t prepare us for this world because of the plain fact that knowledge is a set of theories and accounts with specific studying objects, that is not sufficient to account for the survival manual in the real world full of surprises and traps. Understanding of basic mental models serves as a guide to analyzing information and judging reality when trapped in a tough situation. The course focuses on the following mental models from different subjects and areas: First Principle Thinking, Thought Experiment, Probabilistic Thinking, Inversion, Higher-order Awareness, Abstract, Inverted-U Curve, Catalysts and the Human Network, Inertia and Friction, Route Dependence, Red Queen Effect, The Reframing Problem Method, Black Swan and Gray Rhino, etc. The course is dedicated to those who are eager to get away from the comfort zone created by habitual and institutional mode of thinking. |
