| 英文概述 English Description | Historical imagination can release us from the bonds and limits of reality by giving us various perspectives of ideas, values and patterns of life over times. Now through the media of film, a powerful recorder of life and events, this course intends to equip students with an ability to appreciate a film as a cultural and historical text so as to seek the presence of historical phenomena and sociological significance. Vivid cases of film evidence will be presented to inspire students to interpret and reevaluate the great historical issues of the times so that they can understand the true essence of many values and foster the capacity of multi-dimensional thinking. | |||
