| 英文概述 English Description | The topics discussed in this course are English in the field of science, technology and industry. In the class, various types of teaching materials, such as science news, popular science articles, industry reports, academic papers and patent documents will be used. Students will learn how to structure talking, writing or presentation for technical English, including topic selection, literature review, description and evaluation. We will focus on practical understanding, writing and presentation rather than linguistics. Listening exercises, reading and discussion will be practiced in the class. Students will be trained to summarize science articles, have an attractive presentation, and practice business writing skills. The aim of the class is to improve overall skills of the students in technical English. | |||
