| 英文概述 English Description | This course aims to help students build up the basic knowledge of news trans-editing and develop students’ trans-editing skills through practical training. The course covers the following areas: (1) an introduction to news trans-editing (e.g. the current state of the news trans-editing field, the production workflow, professional qualifications and personal traits of news translators); (2) strategies and skills of news trans-editing (e.g. the strategies of deletion, restructuring, abridgement and synthesis); (3) practical training of news trans-editing in a simulated or real environment. | |||
