| 中文概述 Chinese Description | 以攝影來進行社會介入的創作作品，在當代藝術的領域中已經不再陌生，而這樣的發展也促成在社會學領域中越來越多關於攝影與社會的討論。本課程主要分為兩大部分，第一部分將從攝影史發展脈絡，來談攝影的社會使用，第二部分則是探討在當代藝術中，如何將攝影作為一種社會實踐的方式。除課堂講解和集體討論外，本課程也將透過實作討論同學的攝影計畫和作品，期使讓同學對於攝影，可以產生新的社會性思考，並開始進行影像與社會介入的嘗試。 | |||
| 英文概述 English Description | In the field of contemporary art, photography has been developing into a way of social intervention. This trend also contributes to triggering more dialogues concerning “photography and society” in the discipline of sociology. The course mainly includes two parts: photography history and the photography as a social practice. In the first section, along with the history of photography, the social usages of photography will be introduced. In the second section, how photography art can be a social practice and what kinds of practice have been explored will be . In addition to class lectures and group discussions, the course requires all students to complete their individual photo project in the end of semester and their works will be presented in class. | |||
