| 中文概述 Chinese Description | 中國的崛起正在改變全球的政治、經濟和文化，而台灣與港澳都是已然成型的大中華經濟圈成員，吾人必須要趁早了解中國市場崛起的原因，並開始作好準備。 本課程帶領學生深入瞭解中國崛起的背景、所代表的意義、以及如何去面對隨之而來的新挑戰。課程中並將描繪出世界的未來走向、美國霸權的逐日衰退、和各種產業即將面臨的威脅/挑戰/機遇。 中國已經成為世界最大的經濟體，未來台灣的企業、經濟前景、甚至個人生活都會感受到巨大的衝擊。中國的經濟成長何以會影響到所有的全球性產業和消費者，並分析許多工作即將面臨的威脅。 本課程由總體宏觀角度出發，逐步進入細部剖析，期末再以全球觀點回顧大中華經濟圈的發展，並對未來趨勢提出分析。 | |||
| 英文概述 English Description | This is an introductory level course on the rise of China as a major power and the emergence of the Greater China Economic Circle. Through intensive reading and in-class discussion, the students are expected to gain an in-depth understanding of the developmental causes, path, and trajectory of the GCEC. Both positive and negative factors will be critically examined in the assigned readings. The role of Taiwan in the development of GCEC will also be reviewed. | |||
