| 中文概述 Chinese Description | 庭園是居室生活的抒解，家有庭園，如登山觀水，日洗懷抱。而庭園中的一草一木，一土一石，也都是怡情遣興的寄託。我們現代人，尤其是都市裡的人，生活空間十分狹隘，然居處雖不能有庭園，而心中卻不可無庭園的意趣。如果能把庭園的意趣納入居室建築之內，庭園文學當可給我們許多值得參考的體驗。本課程將由古人描繪庭園景緻，以及欣賞庭園的詩文，探尋中國庭園文學的幽情。 | |||
| 英文概述 English Description | A garden is an outlet of the bustling family life. Once in a garden, what the whole family experiences of mountain climbing, water observing or sun bathing. A single root of grass or wood, a single grasp of soil or a piece of rock may probably become a theme on which one elaborates feelings or spend leisure time. However, as modern people are likely to be physically equipped with excessively limited living space without the benefit of broad and wide garden, we cannot do without mental gardens in our minds. In the event that the beauty of gardens merges with the housing architecture, the garden literature refers to profound values. This course discusses the vivid description of gardens written by ancient Chinese people and appreciate diverse literary works concerning gardens, thus exploring meaningful significance implied in the garden literature. | |||
