| 英文概述 English Description | The object of this course is to introduce the students the understanding of the relationship between education and society. It presents the students with the relation between education and the main sociological theories, such as socialization, social structure, social change. It also offers students with the social condition of schools, the teacher's role, the teacher groups and the teacher's social status. After finishing this course, the students can use the knowledge learned from this course to make educational decision, analyze educational systems, study the instructional principles and solve educational problems in view of the basic theories of sociology of education, and thus lead to achieve the educational goal.
