| 中文概述 Chinese Description | 中國歷史淵遠流長，是以本課程乃針對中國各朝代之史實及其演變過程作一簡單的敘述。周朝之春秋與戰國時代是中國學術思想最輝煌燦爛的時期。漢朝實行封建制度，造成七國之亂，漢武帝對外征討，開疆拓土，立下不朽的勛業。魏晉南北朝由於講究門第觀念，因此造成階級對立。唐朝在太宗時代，成就非凡，造就中國第二個盛世，終因宦官亂政﹑藩鎮割據，造成唐朝的衰亡。宋朝是中國最弱的一個朝代，此乃由於趙匡胤所採取「強幹弱枝」的政策使然。此外，宋代的理學亦是當時學術的主流。明朝政治雖不比唐朝上軌道，但由於初期幾位皇帝的勵精圖治，奠定強盛的基礎，使得明朝國運也維時了相當一段時間。最後終因宦官亂政，流寇為禍，使得明朝走上亡國之途。此外，台灣歷史亦在本課程講授範圍之內，透過歷史事件，人物的分析，讓學生對本鄉本土的歷史文化有深一層的認識和了解。 | |||
| 英文概述 English Description | With a recorded history of nearly 4000 years, Chinese civilization is one of the oldest and most fascinating in the world. In ancient China, There were many dynasties and historical events having different backgrounds and characteristics. In the course, we introduced and discussed the rise and decline of every period as well as the historical events and emperors. Concentrating upon political history, we also give extensive attention to intellectual, social and economic currents of change. In addition, the Taiwanese history is stated in this course. Through the analyses of the important events and persons, the students can get the further understanding about our own lands and cultures. | |||
