Course Objective This course is designed to look into the opportunity on global business development, innovative solutions to the global economy trend, and the economic trend of industries to deploy the most competitive strategies. At the fourth wave of industry stage, our lives have been built toward networks of humans-machines, humans-computers, and eventually humans-computers-machines. We need not only to change our mindsets, but also to upgrade skills from advanced knowledge study and trend recognition. Students will team up to work on projects related to information technology, financial service, industrial manufacturing, engineering industry, biomedical industry, or, retail consumer.

Evaluation and grading policy Lectures will be given by experts from industry to share their experiences and the insights on the competitive world. Course assignments include an individual presentation (35% of grade), a team project presentation (35% of grade), and class attendance (30% of grade).
