Course Objective	本校之普通物理課程專為工程科系背景之同學設計，主要的目的是鼓勵同學參與大自然運行奧秘、法則之探索，並供給爾後修習專業課程之堅實基礎。本課程之內容包含力學、熱力學、聲學、電磁學、光學及近代物理。教授者可按每週三小時、二個學期的時間設計、再參酌各系不同之需求、加強或節略某些章節。
Course Schedule	1~ 3 week Chapter 21-23 : Intro. to Electricity 4~ 5 week Chapter 24-25 : Electric Potential and Capacitance 6~ 8 week Chapter 28-30 : Intro. to Magnetism 9~ 10 week Midterm project 11~13 week Chapter 31-33 : Intro. to Electromagnetic Wave 14~16 week Chapter 34-36 : Intro. to modern physics 17~18 week FINAL EXAM
Evaluation and grading policy	In-class Quiz 28 points 2 points/week x 14 weeks = 28 points Midterm Case Study 32 points A subject self-defined (Creativity 30% + Preparation 20% + Discussion 30% + Delivery 20%) Final exam 40 points In-class Exam with 10 Exercises 50% (2 hours) Case study 50% (1 hour preparation + 1 hour presentation) Participation 10 points -1 point / absence Total 110 points
